About Our Band

 

The name of this band is a reflection of how blindly easy some things fall together in this life... It all began with siblings entering a local talent show. The brothers Chris (lead guitar) and TJ (drums) had been jamming together at home in the Playroom for awhile when the urge hit them to take their talents public. While home on break from college, Brianne (bass), their sister, began sitting in with them during jam sessions. The three liked what they heard and the nucleus of the band was formed. The three blazed through an instrumental performance of ZZ Top's La Grange for their one and only song at the show. The reaction they received from their performance left them wanting more, but they realized that the group was incomplete. The rhythm section was completed with the addition of Dustin on second guitar. After a couple of tries at trying to find a lead singer, the final search for someone to handle vocals and front the band was completed when Tony came on the scene. The next chapter in the band's history began when one of the founding members, Brianne, decided to lay down her bass and pursue other endeavors. This lead to the addition of Justin Rampage Goldsmith on the bass. The band began to jam together with this lineup and liked what was they were hearing but realized that they were missing one more element that was needed to galvanize the group and round out the sonic possiblities they were searching for. That is when the band was fortunate enough to find Mary and welcomed her as an addition to the vocal mix.

The band's sound is unmistakable, unique, and distinct. It is a bombastic amalgamation of blues, punk, hard rock, rockabilly, southern rock, and grunge that produce unforgettable mind numbing soundscapes. It is vintage modern hard rock…it is punkabilly blues…it is soaring vocals over a heavy guitars, driving bass, and pounding drums wall of sound…simply put IT IS ROCK and ROLL. The rhythm section provides the nucleus of the band by boosting big deep drums, swarthy steady bass lines and growling guitar texture to give a home to a full sound with a hard edge. The band's songwriting techniques stay true to the belief of "keeping it real", which employs using the built in sound of a guitar, drums and bass. They meld the technical melodies with harder sounds that are stripped down to present music in its true form. This stripped down raw songwriting shifts between quiet verses and loud choruses overlaid with bittersweet lyrics which are conveyed by the vocalists to draw the listener in.
